Geocache Description:

Lake Pomme De Terre

----No need to open any doors, or move any bricks---- Fortunately, there's a bench close by to help you out. Pomme de Terre, or potato, was named after a native tuber that resembled the potato. This plant was probably a Apios americana or potato bean, and was used as food by the Indians. The literal translation is Apple of the Earth. Stop by and enjoy the beautiful view here!
