The cache is close to the Purakanui Falls where I wanted to hide it, however there was no GPS coverage along the track.
While here take the time to walk in to see the falls. While not huge they are picturesque and have featured on many calendars. The time quoted on the signs to reach the falls are conservative.
The cache is a 1 litre camo painted snaplock container hidden at ground level and not visible from any distance. It contains various trading items.
