BP Series - Splash Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

CurryKev: I am now unable to maintain this old fella.
Never understood the maths required anyways.
Hopefully it'll free up a spot in this fine park.
Keep Calm and Geocache!
Oh. And any further logs, even backdated, ones will be deleted.

Geocache Description:

As the adopter, I can honestly say I have no idea about Maths. For those mathematicians you can do your sums using the "Splash" pic below. For those not inclined to the maths (like me), it may pay to look at Kev's Spoiler pic. There is also a Geocaching Toolkit PCC app that can "possibly" work out the final location. But I haven't tried it. You will find the cache within Battersea park at the tip of a small peninsular. **THERE IS NO NEED TO CLIMB OVER ANY FENCE**

Summary

  • Bearing = 116.8°T
  • Launch Angle = 33°
  • Launch Velocity = 110m/s or 361ft/s
  • Gravity = 9.8m/s² or 32.15ft/s² [corrected]
  • Assume flat world for calculation of projected distance

You are now looking for a small black container

Note: Park is very child-friendly although and the final hiding place requires no climbing now.I do recommend reading the previous logs to obtain the relative location.

You'll see where to go if you look at my spoiler pic taken near the cafe across the water.
