Geocache Description:

The Georgian Bluffs Trail runs west from the city limits of Owen Sound to the Village of Park Head. The trail winds up the escarpment giving magnificent views of Georgian Bay and passes through a variety of terrain including bush, swamp and farmland. This is another one of the 'Hiking Trail' Caches placed along one of the many trails in the 'Bruce and Grey' Trail system.

Uses:
-- Walking, hiking, cycling, equestrian riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing.

    • Access: The trail is accessible at the west edge of Owen Sound at Range Road or at Ben Allen, Shallow Lake, or Park Head.
    • This is another one of the 'Hiking Trail Caches' placed along one of the many trails in the 'Bruce and Grey'Trail system.
    • The walking surface is hard packed stone dust and the difficulty is easy.
    • If you don't want to hike the 15 kms from Owen Sound, here is the alternative parking.
      North...44° 36.809
      West....81° 04.824

      Parking is along the fence right next to the trail entrance.
    • The container holds a small log book, pen & some trading items and is located only 35 mtrs off the pathway.
