Geocache Description:

About a quarter of a mile from the Grand Union Canal Towpath at Hatton Locks.------------------------------------------------------- Unless you are prepared to get wet feet follow the path across the brook to the footbridge over the railway line before following directions from your GPS

The cache is a small screw top container about 25 metres off a well marked public footpath from the canal locks at Hatton. This is a flight of 21 Locks on the grand Union Canal. At the point where the footpath crosses the canal over a single track road 10 locks are visible from the bridge. Pay and display parking next to the canal (£1.20 in September 2014) or for a longer walk park at the Hatton Bottom Lock a couple of miles away and walk along the gravelled towpath to the main group of locks - follow signs for Warwick Parkway Railway Station and turn left immediately after crossing the canal down a narrow lane to the car park. Other parking is to use the "Hatton Arms" pub for refreshments and walk down to the canal from their garden.

Unless you are prepared to get wet feet follow the path across the brook to the footbridge over the railway line before following directions from your GPS.

We've recently placed more caches nearby so it's now possible to get several caches in the same visit.
