This cache is located in a wooded roadside park beside the North Saugeen River. Depending on the gate, you may either drive in or park at the entrance.
The park is located on a piece of land by the river and the old mill race. This old grist mill was one of the first places in Ontario to produce hydro electricity; it was in operation before 1894. For many years it powered the lights of Chesley. Interestingly, the mill is still producing electricity today and feeding it into the grid.
