This cache is located near the Old Fort Steele historic site, near Interstate 80 in southern Wyoming. It is a short drive of about 2 miles from the interstate and an easy walk to the cache. You can learn a great deal of history here as well as finding the cache. Drive to the railroad tracks and park in the parking lot (the paved road turns to gravel but it is a good gravel road). Follow the path and cross under the railroad bridge next to the North Platte River. The cache is easy to locate once on the other side. Please put it back exactly as you found it so it will be equally difficult to find for the next geocacher. The cache contains the following items:

I hope this is a fun hide for you and it gets you off the beaten path and you learn of the historic significance of this place. It is approximately a .2 mile walk from where you will park to the cache. Have fun!
