This is a simple multi waypoint cache that can be done day or night. It will be about a two kilometer hike in a nice area with lots of wildlife,including deer, dogs, beavers, dogs, herons, dogs…well, you get the idea. The cache is a half litre plastic container.
How to find “A Walk In The Bark”: The cache page’s listed coordinates will give you a place to park, and start you at the trail entry point. At each waypoint you will find a quantity of reflective tacks. (These tacks are used for blazing trails in the bush, and are visible from 150 meters when unobstructed.) You will need to count and record the number of these tacks at each waypoint. Travel around the trail circuit gathering and recording the required numbers from the listed 6-redirect waypoints. All the reflective markers can be found within an area of 5 meters of the listed waypoint coordinates. The markers are all located at a height of at least 2 meters off the ground. You will require a good flashlight! If you wish, these markers can also be found during the day, which may not be as easy, but brings its own sight-seeing advantages.
