smallish spaghetti sauce jar
I started riding my bike (as opposed to driving) to visit my parents a few miles down Sycamore/Tassajarra Rd and have discovered a couple of previously unknown trails along the way. So I decided to stash a few caches. This is just the first.
This used to be a 35mm film cannister hanging from a branch, semi difficult to spot during the green season, but during winter? It might as well have been a neon sign. It recently disappeared for a second time, so I decided to change the cache type.
It's now an a smallish spaghetti sauce jar spray painted green. Not too difficult to spot or get to. I placed it wearing my usual flip flops, so no special gear needed to get to it. If you're brave and don't mind reaching blindly, you don't even need to leave the trail level.
I have no idea if the trail has a name or not, but it's a nice little scenic stroll, so bring the kids and the dog for this one.
There's no parking on Sycamore...or Tassajarra for that matter. You can park at the trail entrance on Turnbridge, or walk it, bike it, blade it, pogo stick it, dog scooter it... whatever you prefer.
There's a pen in the jar and some small trade items.
