Geocache Description:

McMurry Meadows is a lovely foothill Sierra area. In the spring and summer, it's grass is green and flowers are in bloom. Its springs flow and birds, insects and other sites abound.

McMurry Meadows is a great place to visit and take a walk and some photos.

To get there, go to Big Pine, and take "Crocker Road" to the west. Go up this road as it turns into Glacier Lodge Road and go 2.7 miles up and turn south onto McMurry Meadows Road. Go on this dirt road about 7 miles until you reach McMurry Meadows. Here is where the cache is placed.

McMurry Meadows by its road is accessible by 2WD from the north and 4WD from to south.

The cache container is 4" opening and 9" tall.
