The cache is located in 40 Mile Point Lighthouse Park north of
Rogers City. Parking is convenient to both the Lighthouse and the cache.
Lighthouse Park is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to sunset. Please respect these hours, as a caretaker lives on site. The lighthouse is open for touring from Memorial Day until mid-October. There is no charge for either the park or the lighthouse. Visit Users Web Page(above) for hours or more details.
The cache is a half-gallon tupperware clone wearing camo-tape and the basic geocache green label. The cache may be approached by walking along the shore line or by the path that starts behind the open-air pavilion. If following the path, take the left at the first fork. No bushwacking is necessary if you take either of these routes. Two benches are nearby for a nice view of the lake, particularly nice at sunset.
Please watch for muggles, as weekends can be really busy here in the summer.
