Geocache Description:

A southwest viewpoint of Mt Erie and the west shore of Whidbey Island in the Anacortes Community Forest Lands. The distance for this cache will vary depending on the route selected.

Options, Options... Sugar, cream, soy milk, decaf, mocha, cappuccino, hot, cold, iced, americano, espresso, fair trade, organic, shade grown or my favorite --> Just Plain Black. mmmm Coffee!
In this situation, sugar cubes would be most appropriate.

This cache is located on the side of a hill marked as 'Sugar Cube' on the ACFL trail maps. In celebration of the many different options for coffee, I am not posting a recommended trailhead because there are Just So Many options. I was able to get to and from the cache with a round trip distance of 1.12 miles. With enough caffeine in your system you could probably make that hike in a half hour! This isn't a race though... take time at the cache to enjoy the surprise view of Mt Erie and the west shore of Whidbey Island.

Trail maps are available at City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, or The Business.
PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB the native plants and wildlife while searching for this cache. A pretty good hint of the cache location has been provided to help reduce the impact of searching in the wrong place. The City of Anacortes has been kind enough not to remove the cache from this amazing and delicate place. Please return the favor by being absolutely respectful of the resources on which you are standing. Pack out any litter found in the area. Go to Anacortes Community Forest Lands for more information on the City of Anacortes parks system.

Oh, I almost forgot, don't forget to stop in town at one of the Many coffee locations. I am not sure if Anacortes has more Geocachers or more barista's? Maybe you will even get to meet Carlton!
