Kent's Pond, in the east end of St. John's, has a great walking trail around it maintained by the Grand Concourse Authority.
Our family has always appreciated the great walking trails near our home in the east end of St. John's. Playing shinny on Kenny's Pond, taking a summer evening's stroll around Kent's Pond, admiring the power of a spring flood along Rennies Mill River, or tobogganing on the northeastern slopes of Long Pond in Pippy Park - they've all been special to us.
Not that you need another reason to get out and revisit these beautiful areas, but after enjoying Kenny's Pond Cache by cybersol, Jen's Cache by Christopher R and Pooh B, and Nature's Treat by Tick and Nammie, we felt that this cache would nicely complement them.
Because this is a high-traffic area, we deemed it necessary to place the cache in a denser patch of woods. It's not too difficult to push through the young fir trees, but if the trees are wet, you will be too.
