De Beurmse Slang is een serie van vijf microcaches die in Groot Bornem verstopt liggen. Zij laten u steeds een stukje geschiedenis zien van deze streek.
Het logboekje van elke microcache bevat een code die u uiteindelijk zal leiden naar de coördinaten van Beurmse Slang: The Final. Bovenstaande coördinaten hebben dus niks te maken met deze cache, hoewel…
Bij elke microcache wordt een beetje uitleg gegeven over het gebied. De geïnteresseerden kunnen altijd nog terecht op www.bornem.be. Hier vindt u ook de evenementenkalender terug. Het is niet echt aangeraden om de caches te lopen tijdens de Dodentocht of de jaarmarkt.
U kunt de Beurmse Slang zowel met de auto als de fiets afleggen. Er is steeds parkeergelegenheid te vinden in de buurt. Indien u het traject met de fiets gaat afleggen, parkeer dan uw auto op het stationsplein (N51 05.915 E4 14.505). Probeer zo veel mogelijk het centrum te vermijden. Dit wordt in de komende maanden heraangelegd. De oranje infoborden geven u een overzicht waar de werken worden uitgevoerd.

De cache staat nu onder een beetje toezicht. Dus als er iemand u benadert tijdens het zoeken of loggen, zeg dan gewoon dat u aan het schatzoeken bent. De cache werd hier gelegd met toestemming van de buren!

The Beurmse Slang (Snake of Bornem) is a series of five microcaches and one regular cache. They are all hidden in the region of Bornem. They show you some historic places of this region.
Each logbook of the five microcaches contains a code that will eventually lead you to the coordinates of the Finalcache. The coordinates above have nothing to do with this cache, although...
Each description of the five microcaches will tell you something about that area. It is not recommended to do the Beurmse Slang during the local events such as The Trip Of Death (second weekend of august) or the annual fair (second week of octobre).
You can either use your car of bicycle. On each spot you can always park your car. If you decide to do this series with your bicycle, then park your car at either the trainstation (n51 05.915 e4 14.505) or at the sluice of Bornem (n51 07.113 e4 13.003).
