Geocache Description:

The Great Stone of Fourstones is on the moor above High Bentham. The stone is in yorkshire (just! the border with Lancashire is only a few hundred meters away)

NOTE: Co-ords have changed as it kept going missing from its previous location.

The Great stone of Fourstones is 4 meters high and has a circumference of 27 meters. It is probabley a glacial erratic but there are two other stories behind it.

The first Legend has it that it is a small part of debris hurled by the giant Finn Mc Cool across the Irish sea from the giants courseway in a fit of anger.

The second is that it was a metior dropped from space.
