Tommi Potx: Well, as the old garrison gets sold off and developed , it's time to put this one to bed. It has been a good run.

This cache is a memorial salute to the troops who have served in Currie Barracks.
The term “Stand To” refers to a military units practice of being awake and alert at first and last light [which are not the same as sunrise and sunset]; these were traditionally the times when most attacks were launched. After the threat of attack was over, the troops would receive a “stand down”, and during less politically correct times, a well deserved ration of rum. This is Dedicated to all absent comrades.
‘From this day to the ending of the world, We in it shall be remembered- We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he today that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother’
