Geocache Description:

Take A Brake!

This cache is almost a drive by.

If you drive I-76 and need a short brake from the Road, this is a nice place. There is a Fenced in large Doggie Exercise Area. (Ivy Dog likes that). Nice park benches and close in parking.

Of course there must be a history lesson to the cache.

Wiggins, elevation 4,548 feet, adopted the slogan, "Gateway to the Plains and the Rockies." Wiggins, 55 minutes northeast of Denver, is a progressive rural community. The community was establishes in 1872. The name honored Oliver P. Wiggins, who served as a guide and scout for Captain John C. Fremont, on some of his explorations through northern Colorado in the 1840's. He also accompanied Kit Carson for 12 years on his expeditions. (via "Town of Wiggins" internet)

The cache is a camouflaged 35 mm FILM CANISTER and only contains a log book. Bring your own pen.

Remember there may be mugglers around. So be careful.

Because of the Winds that are on the plains, MAKE sure the cache is put back very tightly in its location. Please let me know when the log begins to fill.
