Geocache Description:

Nestled in an unrivalled location within the sea and wind-buffeted cliffs of Pembrokeshire is "Malator"

"Malator" is an uncompromisingly modern home in Druidstone, on the West Pembrokeshire Coast. It has been dubbed the ‘blueprint for the future of Welsh housing’. and despite being completed less than a decade ago this cutting-edge contemporary home has already won world-wide acclaim as one of Wales’ architectural treasures.

However, with its turf roof, steel chimney and peephole doorway, it has inevitably gave way to its local nickname as ‘the Teletubby house’.

As a celebration to the building, the cache site sits below the dwelling at the entrance to Druidstone Bay, itself a dramatic and powerful space enclosed by sheer cliffs.

There are many paths leading down to the beach but please be aware that a lot of land around the cache is private property, including any access to the house itself. Please heed the warning signs.

Car parking is very limited but if you are lucky, park at N51° 48.692' W005° 06.049' and follow the gentle path down to the beach towards the cache. A good vantage point for the house can be found at the top the valley at N51° 48.766' W005° 06.193.
