Geocache Description:

Parking is a pull-off of 101 marked with highway signs

The hike to this cache begins by heading South on the Coastal Trail. About two hundred yards on the right is what is best described as a mountain goat trail marked with logs across the entrance. After talking with a woman who helps maintain some of the Coastal Trail and off-shoots to the beaches below, I volunteered to help and this is the first trail I started opening up. The trail is steep in places and has step-downs of about two feet in places. This trail would be no fun in the rain. You won't regret the trip once you reach the bottom. At the bottom the rail goes to the Natural Bridge on the right and the cache site to an open area on the left. The last hundred feet to the Natural Bridge is steep, slippery and hanging on to roots kind of trail but you don't have to go here. The cache site is flat open ground and you will regret not bringing a picnic lunch. The clue is a give-away you will probably want because of spotty reception. Hope you enjoy this spot as much as I did.
