Geocache Description:

It's time again for the annual picnic.

August 20th
4:30 PM

We have a location, we have the shelter reserved and now it's time to invite the folks. The fun should start around 4:30PM. We will check in and get to know each other for a bit and most likely start eating around 5:30PM. The shelter has running water, attached bathrooms and a very nice playground for the young at heart. The area is adjacent to the Leawood Aquatic Center.

The plan this year is for us to bring the meat. This will most probably consist of 'burgers and dogs. We will also bring the cups, plates, napkins and utensils. Everyone else is invited to bring side dishes, drinks, ice and what ever tastes good. Leawood parks has a ban on alcoholic beverages.

Please log this cache as Will Attend to inform me of your plans to attend, and the number in your party. If you include the first names of the members of your party, we will have nametags available. Also let us know what you plan on bringing. We'll probabley pass the hat to help defray the expenses.
