Geocache Description:


We were stricken with sadness as we saw the grave of Young Mr Oliver. Inscribed upon his marker was the age: 11 years 22 months and 27 days. It was a reminder that our time with our loved ones should never be taken for granted--the inscription counting to the very day of this young lad's life. Even though the pain has since passed with many a bygone generation the loss lingered on as we viewed this memorial stone.

We all know that we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Let us remember to appreciate life and count our days shared with family by no less deserving a standard than each precious day. The sadness we felt for this family was moving and we felt compelled to dedicate this cache to each and every precious day we we are privileged to share with our beloved children. May we all be blessed with length of days!
