North of Reflection Lake Recreation Area
On highway 95 at the South end of Golden is an overpass across a set of train tracks. On the south east side of the overpass is a large open area with a Mountain Bike marshalling are and Rec. Site. From the parking area follow the Rotary Hiking/Biking trails up the hill, at the top of the embankment, you will find a double set of benches with an unobstructed view of Reflection Lake, the Columbia Wet Lands and the Purcell Mountain Range. Alternately you can drive to the Golden Cemetery and follow well used trails and avoid the climb from Reflection Lake. From the benches the cache is approximately 15 m. The Rotary trails run through the south end of Golden so the cache can be accessed by following the trails south to the Reflection Lake area from the town site. Bike or walk.
