This is another Otago open landscape with tussock covered hills behind and forest covered shores in front. Bring the fishing rod as you may catch something while looking for this cache.
The area is high and exposed so the winchill can be a factor to be considered when preparing for this cache in windy weather.
The cache is a 400ml camo painted snaplock container and is hidden at ground level and only visible from the right angle. It has the usual log book and pen as well as small trading items.
There is no parking beside the cache. Park where the boat launching ramp is.
