Geocache Description:

This cache is at historical George Rogers Clark Park, located north of Dayton in Springfield, OH. Take I-70 to exit 47(route 4 North) then follow the signs to the park. The 248-acre park includes picnic areas, hiking, fishing and non-motorized boating. The park is the site of the largest Revolutionary War Battle Site west of the Alleghenies, and the location of Historic Hertzler House.

To begin this journey you can park anywhere along the road towards the back of the park. This cache is in a small peanut butter jar with a few trinkets in it to start off. I did not bring much with me since I thought I was using the container to replace the first stage of my capture the cache II geocache, but the contents will improve over time. The cache is located near the Tecumseh Spring. Please take a minute and read a little bit of history about the spring before you go. Good Luck.
