Jungle Trail Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

javamama: My first cache in Singapore and first one placed by the team of Javamama and Spa Susi. This is a great area so hopefully after I free it up, someone else will place a cache in a more secure spot.

Geocache Description:

Hidden just off the barely beaten path down the mountain.

I found this trail a couple of years ago when I was just starting to explore Singapore. Today, after a day of caching, I ended up here with Spa Susi and she wanted to take the hard way down. We planted this cache on the way.

The easiest and most obvious approach is from above. Follow your gps and you'll find the path. The going as far as the cache isn't too bad, but can get a bit wet and slippery so wear good shoes. After that if you want more adventure (and you don't have a car parked above) you can follow the path all the way down where it comes out near the main road, close to buses, taxis and not too far from the MRT. If you decide to try to start from below, add half a star to the difficulty and terrain.

The cache is a small snap-lock tupperware. Initial contents were a logbook, pen and some small geocaching trinkets that we've picked up in our travels.

Warning from Spa Susi: Wear your mossie repellent!!!!!
