An easy Geocache in a beautiful location. Located in the town of Falmouth, just off the Shining Sea Bike Path.
Enter the Shining Sea Bike path where it crosses Shore road or from the nearby parking lot off Oyster Pond Road. Proceed south along the path, towards Woods Hole. This is a beautiful part of the path, right along the water. You will cross a small footbridge on the path. About .25 miles from the bridge there is a dirt trail on the right, heading inland. The cache is about 300' down the path on the left side. Cache contains some locally aquired trinkets, logbook and a camera. Sign the logbook, take a photo of yourself or your group and exchange a trinket. --------------------------------------------------------------- Shining Sea Geocache was adopted 6-3-11 Hide update- Cache location changed slightly from original hide. Needed a new placement. Please return as found and seal tight so that more cachers can find a dry log!
