wildboarpete: I am disbanding this cache effective immediately as I have grown weary of the issues related to cache placements in Will County and no longer wish to deal with the problems of property encroachment, land rights and unfounded suspicion that comes with placing containers.

Geocache Description:

This is a regular cache in a tupperware container containing a variety of items. It is placed in a medium wooded area. Park at N 41° 29.614 W 088° 01.426

This is my first cache placement and my son Logan helped find the spot. The name Union's Shadow refers to the unicorporated area these woods reside in and the small schoolhoue just up the road a lick...

This is a short walk through light woods and heavy grasses. There are a number of deer about, so don't be suprised if you spook them as you make your way in. The cache is in a clear rubbermaid container and hosts the following items:

several boyscout belt loops
a collection of hot wheels
several boyscout "point" pins

Update: With Fall comming on, this is a nice visit
