Geocache Description:

The posted co-ordinates will take you to a pleasant rotunda and rest area in the town of Beaufort. From here you will need to answer some questions to work out the final co-ordinates which are 26km away, where hopefully you will see some interesting ancient art as well as some unexpected modern art.

At the posted co-ordinates, find the object that Seahunt’s namesake presented to the town.

A = The no. of letters in the name of the town where the object was made.

What famous Australian “axle grease” was invented by Dr. Cyril Percy Callister in 1923, who was born in the town of Chute just north of here? (Beaufort people allege that he invented the product in Beaufort itself) You may have to do a bit of research to find the answer to this question, unless you know what the Australian product is that the Americans call “axle grease”.

BB = The no. in the alphabet of the first letter of the famous “axle grease” word.

Now go to: S 37° (BB-3).A(A-5)A E 143° 0(A-3).(BBX32+A)

The cache is a 400ml Sistema clip lock container with the usual items inside. Hope you enjoy the walk and spot the art – both kinds!
