This cache is located under a mile from the parking area's on a gentle slope, a short walk on easy terrain.
The cache is hidden in metal box measuring approx 25 * 18 cm and is clearly marked with Geocache stickers. The cache is placed approx 60m NW of the trig point on Whittington Tump (Crookbarrow Hill). The cache initially contains many items that we have collected from other geocache sites.
The cache is approachable from two locations, the first is from the lay-by off junction seven of the M5, the footpath is located at N52.10.143. W002.10.911
The second and preferable start point is from the parking area at the north end of the old Norton barracks, the footpath starts at N.52.09.871 W002.11.414
Whittington Tump dominates the approach to the city from the south-east and the M5. Archaeologists disagree as to whether the tump is natural or artificial - perhaps a massive burial mound. Either way the views of Worcester & the surrounding hills on a clear day are great.
