Tilbury Fort #3
The artillery fort at Tilbury protected London until the dawn of the 20th century. Henry VIII built the first fort and, nearby, Elizabeth I rallied her army waiting for the Armada.
Opening Time: (Althought the caches in in the surrounding of the fort so you can get it anytime!)
10am - 6pm 24th March - 30th Sept
10am - 5pm 1st October
Close 24, 25, 26 Dec & 1st Jan.
The cache is a simple lunch box (white with a blue lid) and it doesn't contain very much at the moment! Sorry!
