Geocache Description:

Many an Eagle has passed through a small, humble structure known locally as The DeLand Boy Scout Hut at this little city park. In this building, On May 10, 2005, my oldest son achieved the highest rank in Boy Scouts following his Board of Review. In recognition of my son’s Eagle Scout Award I have placed a cache in this DeLand public park. This 3.2 acre city property has a short landscaped trail that circles most of the park, a playground and basketball court. Go where the coordinates take you.

The cache location is straight forward with a blind of natural cover. You’ll appreciate this cover as you search if there are children playing nearby. The contents are basic and non-themed for this dedicated cache. Please keep the cache well hid after logging your find.
