PK's 38 Special Traditional Cache
Opa&PK: This cache has also outlived its usefulness, especially since the mosquito season is about to begin. It, like A Bear's Cache and Opa's Opus #15, will be replaced this summer with four new caches. Thanks to everybody who braved the skeeters and sometimes mud to find it.

in our disclaimer.
The cache is in Pollard Park. It's named as it is because Opa was born in '38, and PK often refers to him, "Isn't he special?"
The container is about 5 by 8 inches, camouflaged.
Stay on the asphalt path until you get to a break (firebreak?) in the woods, unless you LIKE bushwhacking. From there on, trust your GPSr. Minor bushwhacking if you use the firebreak.
There is seasonal sogginess, and skeeters. Parking OK; 24/7; Winter friendly; dogs OKJ; public transit NO; some stealth may be needed; kids YESD; less than 1 hour: bathroom and drinking water during normal park hours. No park fee.
Original contents: logbook w/pencil, hose nozzle, mini Etch-a-Sketch, bunny cap, flashlight w/batteries, small carbiner, calculator pen.
The FTF award is a scratchoff lottery ticket (good luck).
