The cache is located near to the Beverley 20 national trail. The path is easily accessible with just a slight slope, some parts covered with rocky material but can be quite muddy.
The cache is a plastic container with small items in it and covered with a black bag.
The village of Skidby is notable for having a fine working windmill which dominates the surrounding skyline. Near the mill there is a restaurant.
Car parking is available opposite the church for visiting the cache. At the cache there is a good open view over the surrounding countryside and the mill can be seen rising above the houses in the village.
