Geocache Description:


Changing cache name to better reflect the surrounding wildlife. Not many "daffys" there any more.

Also note, the ranger now closes the gates between 4:00 - 5:00 PM. It is no longer 24 hour.

The cache is hidden in a muggle-free area designed to provide a natural habitat for ducks and other wildlife. You will probably have the entire area all to yourself.

Although the area is handicap accessible, the cache itself is not

The cache is a small waterproof container containing a log and small pencil. You will probably want to bring your own pencil though. Trust your instincts and your GPSr to find it and please hide it as you found it.

This is one of those "secret areas" that very few people seem to know about. It's a favorite place for me to spend my lunch hour away from the office and just sit back and watch the world of nature. You may see ducks, cranes, and other wildlife.
