As New Zealanders we are constantly bemused by the use of the
term Kiwi by Americans. The people of New Zealand are Kiwis; our
national symbol, the flightless bird, is a Kiwi; this cache is
not a Kiwi!
The nearest parking is available off White Oak Church Road at
N35° 47.171 W078° 55.386 (where restrooms are available) which is
0.8 miles from the cache. Alternative parking is available at the
parking lot off Wimberley Road at N 35° 45.677 W 078° 55.265 which
is 1.1 miles from the cache location. In either case, it is a
pleasant walk, or biking is an option.
To retrieve the log, hold the outside of the container
and slide it upwards. A silver bison tube will appear. Unscrew the
base of the bison tube to reveal the log. Please do not remove the
container. A writing implement will be needed as the cache
is too small to hold one.
Lesson over... now get out there cache hunting!
