This cache, located at the PA Welcome Center on route 70 West, is located in the thriving metropolis of Warfordsburg, PA. OK, we might have overstated the population a bit. It is the former home of CCCA's Roadside Multi-Distraction cache. Reborn and transfigured, this behemoth now lies in wait of all those who dare to cross the Mason Dixon line heading Westbound....
The Cache:
Even though this multi-tendriled beast is located at a rest stop, this is NOT a cache and dash. The above coordinates take you to the visitor center. The first step is an offset puzzle used to determine the coordinates for stages 1 through 3, which are microcaches hidden at various locations around the Welcome Center. Each of these stages will give information needed for the final stage.
Step 1:
Find the inside pay phone at the rest stop and note the phone number associated with it. Note: It's the number with an area code of 717, not the large 1-888 number recently put there advertising cheap rates...
A = The last digit of the inside pay phone
B = A - 1
C = The next to last digit of the inside pay phone
D = A – B : E = A + B + D : F = C – D : G = C – B

Stage 1 is at: N 39 44.BE0 W 78 10.GCB - This cache is attached. Please unscrew the base.
Stage 2 is at: N 39 44.BB0 W 78 10.F0D
Stage 3 is at: N 39 44.DAE W 78 10.FA4 - This cache is attached. Please unscrew the end.
Stage 4: The Final Cache
Once you have found stages 1 - 3, you should have enough information to find this stage. It is a large micro cache; about twice the size of a 35mm film canister. It only contains a log sheet. Please BYOP (Bring Your Own Pen). Some stealth will be required, but we have taken you away from most of the high traffic areas. You shouldn't have to wait for picnickers to finish scarfing down their food. No climbing or bushwhacking is required and all stages are totally within the rest stop. There is nothing in or on the fences. Please take care to rehide or "set" the final cache so the next finder can find it.
