This is an easy Cache so ALL family members can participate. Near the Entrance to the Lower Falls campground. A Forest Pass is required to use the area. The trail is wider than it appears in the spoiler picture, some may venture up close in a wheelchair.
Altitude 1500'
We love all the falls on the upper North Fork of the Lewis River. Get the Cache BUT enjoy the falls too. They are maybe 100 yards away on a easy trail.
Coordinates to a place to park are N46° 9.378' W121° 52.911'
This is within view of the Cache.
National Forest Road 90 is a good paved road except for about a mile near the Cache. This unpaved section is passable to all vehicles, just drive slowly. The road in general is curvy, scenic lakes, mountainous, wildlife, with occasional sunken grades. Best enjoyed at a 30 - 35 MPH pace.
