Lion in the Grass Traditional Cache
Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. A quick bait and find (instead of park and grab) at a kid- friendly fishing hole.
I grew up within a 5 minute walk of this location. Back in the late 60's, I spent many an evening catching mosquitos and, on very rare ocassions, a decent sized bass. Schools of 20"+ bass could always be seen roaming about 30 feet offshore, but convincing them to go for that local live grasshopper, frog, or whatever other live bait could be culled from the surroundings, was a different story. But every now and then, it happened. Also, caught a 2 foot catfish in here back in '69, no lion. Have fun, and thanks for visiting.
