One of the many special things in Michigan City, IN
Built in 1904, this special object located, in Michigan City, IN, has shone the way for many a travelers, brightening their way on the coldest, darkest nights.
An older, but yet just as important version of this was erected in 1858 and still stands today but has been retired. The image of this special object has been used on many of thing including the local news paper and even the City government’s letter head.
We hope you enjoy the leisurely walk out to the cache and be careful as you go. (This would not be a good night cache or rainy day cache)
There is a small entrance fee during the summer and the park closes at 10:00 P.M.
You are looking for a film canister. Don’t forget to bring a pencil with you.
