Geocache Description:

We are replacing a cache that was placed here on July 8, 2001. You can see it at GCF8A. We thought it was a neat park and the original cache was short lived so not many had a chance to find it. We hope that this one lasts a little longer than four months. We think that with a little Geocacher cooperation that it should stay here a while so please put it back like you found it.

There aren’t a whole lot of hiding places so if you have done this once or twice you should walk right to it. The real challenge here is finding the park. There is a short stretch of gravel road but we did it on the motorcycle twice with no trouble. We have been here a few times and never seen many people but the potential muggle factor is there.

Here is the original stash note:

You're just one exit from Illinois Amish country, near a large outlet mall , a small public fishing lake and a championship golf course. Bring your money .your fishing pole or your clubs and enjoy the day.
Approximately 9X13 black plastic container filled with 2 bottles of water, a first aid kit, a Union Pacific RR pencil, coffee and sundries pack, pens, an MRE (meals ready to eat)----yum!!!!!!, batteries, dog treats, small knife, keychain and train whistle, bag of toys, 2 power prop gliders, Mardi Gras beads, and toy soldiers. Have a great time and please sign our log book. This is our very first cache, and we hope you enjoy the hunt.

Enjoy!! - Mike and Samantha
