Geocache Description:

Placed among the fewer remaing Orange Groves in Redlands / Mentone

Redlands early history revolved around the citrus industry, not so anymore. It is sad to see all the groves going. The land is worth so much now, I guess you can't really blame the farmers for selling. They are all down in Mexico sunning themselves on a sandy beach. Many of them worked to hard to raise the fruit that they sold for a small profit. They have earned their rest. So this little cache is in their honor and others that are still holding on to the groves. Thanks to them we can come up here and search for a little cache and in the spring smell those wonderful blossoms.
