My appreciation also extends to Mudsneaker who placed a new ammo box on 11/14/09 in order to keep this cache active.
There are two ways to reach this cache:
1) If you decide to use a ATV or dirt bike mentioned above, you may do so starting from the Waddel Creek Campground. Trail #40 will get you near the cache site.
2) Update 03/10/15: If you choose to hike in, take the D4000 road off the C-line. There is parking at the start of the gated D4900 logging road. Walk approximately .6 miles until you reach the trailhead coordinates. Look for a medium wide open landing that 3 trails converge on. Your GPS will lead you toward the open view edge, where there is a obvious clear trail leading down the hill to a large stump that's nice to stand on. That's where you go to see the Gazebo. During this maintenance visit, the trees have grown up quite a bit to almost obscure it. From that point ya gotta walk down and around the stump to another smaller steep trail where it hits the flat. Go a little farther down the hill to the less traveled location. Your GPS coordinates should be close to the cache. The hint should do it. Please use caution as there is loose footing from wet wood, and grass in places.
