Geocache Description:

This cache is not handicap accessible. It required a short walk on uneven terrain and possibly some minor bushwacking.

You can park within .1 miles of this hide. The best way I have found to get close to this cache is to drive your vehicle from the north through the JHawker Round-Up fairground road and park under the bridge up to the graffiti. Do not drive further west of the bridge unless you have some extra cash on hand for a tow. Even though it looks like you could drive on the trails, do not attempt it because they quickly turn into sand. This area used to be the creek bottom. If you don't heed my advice, Joe's repair is about a quarter mile north. He uses his tractor for towing at a minimum $60.00 a pop. He told me he gets business in this area about once a month. You will be searching for a standard size green ammo can containing a log book, writing instruments, a disclaimer and numerous items for trade. Watch out for poison plants because I'm sure there are some growing somewhere in an area like this although I saw none near the route I took to the cache. There are a variety of sandy trails leading to the cache. Several will get you close. It is posted "No Off Road Vehicles" As always, cache in trash out, obey the rules, be safe and happy caching.
