Geocache Description:

An old cemetery from the late 1800's.

This cemetery served the local black community after the Civil War. The land belonged to the Lowery family. Their son Perry Lowery was a famous musician and their nephew Euhene was a legendary cowboy. Note the simple stone markers across the fence. The white tombstone marks the gave of Thomas Cracraft, who died in 1892 at the age of 76. The GAR marker to the right of the stone indicates that Cracraft served in the Union army during the civil war. See (visit link)

Cache is a small white tupperware container.
