Geocache Description:

The micro has been replaced by a tupperware container, so it's ready for trading goodies and TBs.

This park opened in June 2003 and is located southwest of Park Falls. It consists of the forest and lakefront property surrounding Smith Lake, part of the Flambeau River, plus 2 canoe-in campsites. There is ATV trail access to the Tuscobia State Trail via Omaha Road (approx. 1 mile) and to Park Falls Tuscobia Trailhead County Park (approx. 4 miles). Adjoining this park are 1,000s of acres of industrial forest land and the Flambeau River State Forest. This campground can accommodate RVs, trailers, tent trailers, and tents.


***Safety warning: There is a wasp nest under the log where the cache is hidden. Approach from the park-end of the log, not the woods-end. Please be careful; I don't want to disable this cache, and I will try to get it moved before September.***
