This cache is dedicated to our friend Len Miller. I spend many enjoyable days canoeing hundreds of miles on some of the best whitewater in the eastern United States with Len. Unfortunately, he died suddenly in November 2003. The Len Miller Memorial Bridge was built in his honor.
To find this cache, take Meadow Grounds Road and follow the signs to the parking area. You can park within about 1000’ of the cache at the Meadow Grounds Lake dam. Walk across the dam, take Jarrodd Trail and cross the stream using the bridge.
My wife and I were part of a group of 25 volunteers that built the bridge in one day. The bridge was dedicated 8 days later on June 12, 2005.
The cache is only a short distance from the bridge and should be easy to find. If you have time, visit the waterfalls downstream of the bridge.
