Cache Location:
The Milford Oval Webcam provides a view of a portion of the heart of Historic Downtown Milford, the Milford Oval, also known as Union Square. This parcel of land was a gift to the town of Milford in the 18th century by William Crosby. When you visit the oval, we think you will enjoy walking around the small park, as there are a number of interesting monuments and statues on the oval. Also, after completing the webcam cache, you may wish to investigate the nearby benchmarks or visit one of the many excellent restaurants around the Oval.
Webcam Information:
The Milford Oval Webcam is hosted as part of the Milford NH Community Internet Web Pages. The webcam operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The online image is updated every five minutes.
Cache Requirements:
In order to receive credit for visiting this webcam, you must include a photo from the webcam in your "Found It" log. The picture must show you standing on the granite base of the War Monument, with one arm outstretched, leaning against the monument. Stand on the west side of the monument, facing south. If you have physical limitations in regard to accessibility (e.g. you use a wheelchair), you may locate yourself immediately adjacent to the granite base and stretch out an arm toward the monument, if possible.

If we can't see you or you aren't in the correct position, we won't be
able to give you credit for this webcam cache. If you plan to go at night, wear a light-colored shirt since you may not be visible in a dark shirt.
Webcam Logging Tips:
- The coordinates will get you to the general location, but you will need to consider the perspective of the webcam in order to place yourself in the correct position.
- In order to include the webcam photo with your log, you will need to have a helper save the webcam image which shows you standing in the correct position.
- Have your helper at the computer go to the Milford Webcam Page. You'll need to remain in the correct position for as long as it takes (probably around 5 minutes) for you to be shown on the webcam page. (They may need to "Reload" or "Refresh" the web page periodically.) After you are shown in the image in the correct spot, your helper can then save the image to their computer by "right-clicking" on the image and choosing "Save Picture As..." or "Save Image As..." depending on the web browser they use.
- Your helper will need to get the image to you somehow in order for you to include it with your log.
Other Information:
In addition to the roadside parking around the Milford Oval, there is additional nearby parking alongside and behind the Milford Town Hall.
