MissouriMadDog: I've retired from geocaching and this one is gone, so i'll clear it out so others can maybe put a tiny micro here. Not sure how they'll do it though, considering there are no lightposts in the woods and Wal-Mart is across town. :)

Geocache Description:

This small cache is located at Witte Falls (pronounced "Witty"), a beautiful though short waterfall at the foot of Cavanal Hill, the World's Highest Hill.

This is a scenic spot long enjoyed by those who live in the Poteau area. Sometimes Witte Falls runs like crazy; other times it is a trickle. It is beautiful at all times. The creek is clear and fish and other wildlife are clearly visible.

This area needs some trash cleanup, so this is a planned cleaning point on the upcoming Cavanal Hill Cache In Trash Out Event.

You are looking for a vitamin bottle painted camouflage. It should not be difficult to find because it is in a fairly obvious spot. What may be difficult is the terrain. I've given this one a 3.5 terrain rating because at times, this cache may require wading to obtain. Be careful on the rocks. The day I hid the cache, I walked across on dry bed.

To reach the cache, park at the turnout and find a small trail to the right of the white rock barrier.
