Geocache Description:

A 1 gallon Rubbermaid container near Geneva, PA. Uphill hike or short wheel base 4x4 vehicle ( wrangler, samurai, tracker, etc ) can access this cache just off I-79.

Parking co-ords ( or trail-head, if you have a suitable vehicle ) are: N 41º 32.461, W 080º 11.271. This brings you next to the intersection of routes 285 & 19, just off I-79. A trail heads uphill from this informal parking area, into a large open area. Further back, another hill leads up into the woods. This trail brings you to the cache.

DISCLAIMER

I am NOT listing this as a 4x4 cache, though it is possible to use one. The trail has loose rock, mud, logs, and narrow sections. Damage to your vehicle is a very real possibility. I DO NOT advise use of your vehicle here, your feet are the best option.

Trail is intially wide enough for a vehicle, but at cache location, narrows to a 4 wheeler path. A SMALL turn-around is here, just big enough for the aforementioned short wheel-based vehicles. If your jeep has to be waxed before you visit the mall, you probably don't want to try this - hike it instead. Branches hang down, the trail is muddy in spots, and the turnaround is tricky. Some off-road experience is advisable

Cache is tucked in a forked hemlock. Just down the bank, a spring trickles out of the ground. The hollow located here is very peaceful, and great for chilling out !
