BeechWood Aged Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Capt. Bud: 1st Mate Marty & I were out on a color tour in the PRC today, and checked on a few of our caches. As some previous logs might indicate, this one has flown the coop. Obviously scooped up by the local Sasquatch family. Thanks to all those that visited here.

Geocache Description:

A single stage Cache in the Pigeon River Country State Forest.

The search for this Cache will take you on a short walk through a very nice area of Northern upland hardwood forest. Along with the Maple & Beech in this area, there are a few really huge White Pines. I would recommend coming in here from Osmun road, and down the seasonal road that goes into the Cornwall Flooding Day Use Area. On your way in or out, check out the Elk viewing area on Osmun Road, about ¼ mile S.E. of that intersection.

This is the 1st Cache in my L.P.T. series. The container is a 3” x 6” plastic screw top jar, containing Logbook-Pen & geoTrinkets. To prevent the possibility of damage by critters, please do not leave food items of any type. Liquids are subject to freezing in the winter, breaking their containers, and thus creating a mess within the Cache. Therefore, please do not leave liquids of any type in this Cache.
